SocialPaps is an online marketplace that connects customers with photographers, videographers, and content creators who can be booked to capture photos or videos for events or everyday moments. It also allows creators—from hobbyists to professionals—to list their services, set rates, and receive bookings through the platform.
1. Can you introduce yourself, and tell us about your team or company?
Hi, I’m Adele! The co-founder and CEO of SocialPaps - www.socialpaps.com
SocialPaps is an online marketplace platform for people and businesses to find and book professional and hobbyist photographers, content creators and videographers worldwide in seconds. SocialPaps allows people who want memories captured to book someone who can take a great photo - from professional photographers and content creators to the ‘friend group photographer’ who always gets the best angles. Our mission is to enable our Paps to make an income doing what they love and our customers being able to easily find and book someone to capture photos and videos - whether it’s for a wedding, holiday or for a small business to use for their social media marketing.
Myself and my co-founder Dan are both software engineers and we launched SocialPaps in January 2026.
We are currently a small but very passionate founder team and most importantly, we’re friends (unless we’re playing Badminton).
2. How are you using Rollbar?
We use Rollbar to catch bugs as soon as they happen and to have confidence in feature releases. We use it with our rails backed and vanilla js frontend. If we didn't use rollbar we would be operating blind and would rely on users reporting issues instead of fixing them as soon as they appear. Being a customer-focused platform, we need to catch and fix issues before our users experience them.
3) What made you choose Rollbar?
We picked Rollbar as we have previous experience with it in previous roles where it kept our engineering teams on top of issues. We knew it worked so when it came to picking a solution for SocialPaps, it was an obvious choice.
