1. Can you introduce yourself, and tell us about your team or company?

My name is J.P. Mitra and I’m the co-founder and CTO of Taliho. We are a SaaS company building tools that aggregate and streamline access to data, helping teams easily connect and use the information they need. My team consists of four people: me, our CEO Todd, our marketing chief Michael, and our other developer, Mariam. So between the four of us, we got a lot of work to do to prove ourselves in the space.

2. How are you using Rollbar?

When we first started using Rollbar, I didn’t come from a traditional software development background, so I wasn’t very familiar with error logging. While building our MVP, I relied mostly on intuition — when an error occurred, I would just receive a message and handle it manually. At the scale we were operating at the time, that approach was manageable.

That changed when we brought Mariam onto the team. She came in with more experience around processes and tooling, and introduced Rollbar as a more structured way to manage errors. As we’ve continued to grow, we’ve already seen significant benefits from using it over the past few months.

One of the biggest advantages has been the replay functionality. It’s made a noticeable difference in our debugging process by giving us clearer visibility into what’s happening when issues occur. In many cases, it’s even helped us catch bugs before our clients notice them, allowing us to investigate and resolve issues proactively rather than reactively.

Overall, Rollbar has become a critical part of our day-to-day workflow. Without it, we’d be much more in the dark when it comes to understanding and diagnosing issues. The level of visibility and depth of information it provides has been a huge time saver, helping us quickly identify and prioritize bug fixes when they arise.

3) What made you choose Rollbar?

Rollbar was actually the first recommendation from our developer, and I trusted her judgment. We didn’t spend much time evaluating other tools — it was a solution she had used successfully at a previous company, and it’s proven to be a great fit for us as well.
