Sergey’s story with Rollbar

Sergey Belogurov

Sergey has now been using Rollbar for 100 months!

1. My Role

I've worked for a marketing data analytics company called Attribution (www.attributionapp.com) for 8 years now. My role as Tech Lead is to ensure reliable operation of our services and continued delivery of new features with the help of the development team.

Attribution’s mission is to make marketing performance more transparent. Marketers spend much of their time trying to understand what marketing efforts are working and which are not. The Attribution marketing analytics platform provides marketers with the insights to understand the cost, revenue and profit resulting from marketing programs by channel and down to the individual customer level so they can make better decisions, faster and with more confidence than ever before.

2. My Passion in the Role

From early ages, I was always passionate about all types of tech: the first one being wooden bricks, I guess. So it's no surprise that over the years it transformed into the profession of my life. I like to build things and what could be more fun than building software in digital era?

Don't be afraid to experiment and keep learning. The world of technology is constantly evolving, and there's always something new to discover. Embrace the challenges, and who knows, maybe your next creation will change the world!

3. The Rollbar Experience

If everything always worked perfectly, Rollbar wouldn't be necessary, but in reality, it's a vital tool that works tirelessly behind the scenes for many products. I've been using Rollbar since 2013 and it's my go-to monitoring tool. Since we do rolling daily releases, having a reliable monitoring tool is essential, I use it every day to ensure the code my team delivers runs bug-free. In case of outage or service degradation, Rollbar is always my first stop to check for reported errors. Only then do I check other monitoring tools.
